Meet Mary, White Label Casinos’ Head of Customer Support. We caught up with her to discuss what makes our team tick, her favourite moments at WLC, and her imaginative ideas for celebrating our unique culture. 1. Who are you and what’s your day-to-day like at White Label Casinos?
I am the Head of Customer Support at WLC and I oversee that our Customer Support department is fully trained and ready to take care of our clients and players, by implementing and upkeeping processes, SLAs, KPIs, making sure that we are providing the best possible player experience. My day-to-day tasks are a mix between checking chats, emails, processes, collaborating with other operations departments and our clients, supporting the CS team, and keeping the department running smoothly.
2. What’s one of your favourite moments at White Label Casinos that made you feel proud to be part of the team?
My favourite moment at WLC is definitely how many charities we have helped through the years.
We are currently raising money in aid of a school, a partnership that will last two years. Before that we had a long term partnership with the MSPCA. Two extremely noble causes. It’s amazing to see how happy everyone always is to get involved, it definitely makes me proud to be a part of this team.
3. How do you think our core values influence the way we interact with our customers or clients?
Our values have a profound impact on how we interact with our clients, our passion and honesty has built trust and a long-lasting relationship with them.
4. How do you see our core values playing a role in our teams’ success?
Our core values are a reflection of how we work, we are passionate, we take our work seriously and even if we are a bunch of weirdos, we use it as an advantage as it sets us apart from what everyone else is doing. It makes our work genuine and original, offering an attractive opportunity to new and existing clients.
5. Have you seen a colleague exemplify our values in a way that inspired you? Tell us about it!
It is not possible to choose one… I am inspired by all my colleagues daily, as every day I see them giving their 100%
6. If you could organise an event or activity to celebrate one of our core values, what would it be and why?
I would celebrate the “We are weird, but respectfully” core value with an event called “Quirkfest”. This event would reward a few categories, like Best Outfit, Weirdo of the year, weird food combinations contest and other quirky contests.
7. Any final thoughts or anecdotes about your experience with our core values that you’d like to share? We’re all ears!
When the core values were announced, I remembered thinking… only WLC can have core values that are not written in boring corporate language and that can describe so well who we are as a team.
