As the regulatory accountant you will ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements within White Label Casinos. It is your primary responsibility to monitor and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and adherence to relevant regulatory standards. In addition, the position will work closely with the Corporate Legal and Compliance team.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

    • Professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in financial analysis and data manipulation using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • VAT and Local Tax Knowledge (Maltese).
    • Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies and their reporting requirements (e.g., SEC, IRS, FASB) is a plus.
    • Experience in Excel, Jira, Confluence etc.

    • Preferred but not a necessity. 
    • Prior experience in regulatory accounting or financial compliance is desirable.
    • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferre

        • Completion and submission of Annual Accounts in a timely manner.
        • Ensure accounting procedures support the compliance processes.
        • Completion and submission of all indirect tax returns.
        • Completion and submission of all direct tax returns.
        • Support HR with payroll and people compliance.
        • Completion and submission of all license related payments.
        • Support compliance with statistical information.
        • Continually review that the current structure is tax optimized.
        • Manage dividend requirements across the group.
        • Manage internal audits within the organisation.
        • Support CFO with ad hoc analysis.
        • Ad hoc projects.
        • Anything else the company requires from this role.
